The European Commission adopts every year progress reports describing the political and economic developments in each candidate or potential candidate country. For this purpose the progress reports includes statistical annexes - provided by Eurostat - with key statistical data on the countries. The 2011 progress reports were adopted by the Commission on 12 October 2011.
