Cultural participation and cultural practices constituted the subject of special modules attached to Eurostat SILC and AES surveys. These modules analysed trends and patterns relating to cinema and live performance attendance, visits to cultural sites, involvement in amateur cultural activities and reading. The Community survey on ICT usage in households and by individuals provides data on ICT equipment and use of Internet for various purposes.
