The objective of the dashboard on EU youth indicators is to provide a quick and comprehensive cross-sectoral view of the living conditions of young people in the EU. The dashboard is the result of the extensive contributions and successful deliberations of the Expert Group on EU Youth Indicators and is presented in the Commission Staff Working Document (SWD) On EU Indicators in the Field of Youth released on March 25, 2011.
The dashboard is updated and revised on an annual basis, to ensure that the indicators properly reflect the changing realities of young people. The indicators presented here are those that are based on data from Eurostat. The complete list of youth indicators and most recent available data - including those from other sources - is available here (updated January 2012).
