European Statistical Advisory Committee (ESAC)

The next ESAC meeting will take place on 3 May 2012.

The 10th ESAC meeting took place in Luxembourg on 8 February 2012.

For the preparation of opinions on highly complex statistical matters, the Committee may, in agreement with the Commission, establish temporary working parties to be chaired by a Committee member. Each working party shall be made up of experts providing an appropriate balance of professional backgrounds and geographical distribution.

For the performance of its tasks, the Committee may commission studies and hold seminars.
