The domain is structured in four main chapters:
- Food consumption: gross human apparent consumption of main food items (total and per capita);
- From production to distribution: organic production, volume of production and rade of quality wines, volume of production and sales of food products, relative price levels of food products, etc.
- Inputs to the food chain: volume of agricultural primary production, volume of seeds, consumption of pesticides, main countries from which food products enter the EU territory, etc.
- Actors involved in the food chain: number of enterprises and agricultural holdings, etc.
