Inflation
HICP data on inflation including the rates for the Monetary Union Index of Consumer Prices (MUICP or Euro area data), European index of consumer prices (EICP or EU data) and the European Economic Area Index of Consumer Prices (EEAICP or EEA data) is published monthly according to a pre-defined calendar and includes explanatory texts.
Flash estimate
Eurostat also releases a monthly Flash estimate on the euro area inflation (MUICP), usually on the last working calendar day of the reference period. The Flash estimate uses early data information from Member States and energy prices. The Flash estimate started in October 2001 and you can find further information in the technical annex released with the launch (News release 113/2001).
