Statistics Objectives
The Central Africa 10th EDF Regional Indicative Programme (RIP) for 2008-2013 covers 8 countries: Cameroon, Central African Republic, Chad, Congo, Democratic Republic of Congo, Gabon, Equatorial Guinea and São Tome e Principe. It encompasses all CEMAC (Communauté Economique et Monétaire de l'Afrique Centrale) member states, which are also part of CEEAC (Communauté Economique des Etats d'Afrique Centrale), and two additionnal member states from CEEAC.
EU partnership in statistics with Central Africa

The 9th EDF PAIRAC - Strengthening regional integration in Central Africa programme started in 2006 and ended in March 2010.
Activities cover:
-The strengthening of national cells in charge of the multilateral surveillance in each country,
-harmonisation of basic statistics (national accounts and prices),
-macro-economic modelling,
-external trade and agriculture statistics and
-dissemination of statistical information to meet the regional organisation's needs.
Activities will also focus on improving the visibility of CEMAC activities, reactivating for instance the statistical committee meetings.
By now there has not been any 10th EDF project adopted at regional level.
