Eurostat database contains different datasets concerning "monetary and other financial statistics".
Seven main areas can be distinguished:
- Bond market. It covers debt securities of euro area and non euro area residents. Furthermore data is available on international debt securities
- Euro banking transactions
- Monetary aggregates, counterparts and banks' balance sheet items
- Foreign official reserves
- Index of purchaising power of the euro/ECU
- Stock market. It covers data on share price indices, stock market capitalization and turnover. Furthermore data on quoted shares is available.
