ESSC members will be invited to give their opinion on the strategic priorities for the Annual Work Programme 2013 and priority-setting for the European Statistical System, as well as the proposal for a Regulation of the EP and the Council concerning statistics on demography. They will also discuss the activities of the Sponsorship Groups on Standardisation, Communication, and Measuring Progress, Well-being and Sustainable Development.
Moreover, Eurostat will inform the Committee on the ongoing work of the Task Force on the planned revision of Regulation No. 223/2009 and on Commitments on Confidence. Eurostat will also report on the implementation of NACE Rev.2 classification, as well as the NSIs compliance with the Code of Practice.
