To collaborate actively on this website, INSEE has developed a structure of cooperation involving the departments of dissemination and information technology. The Institute has intended to cover in usable formats, a wide range of economic topics.
Six "key figures" databases present the main results of population census. About 80 "detailed tables" databases divide the population and housings according to many criteria, such as sex, age, household size, occupational status or comfort and size of housing. These databases can be downloaded. Direct access to geographical areas are also available to the municipal level.
