The 98th DGINS Conference will be held in Prague between today, 24, until 26 September 2012. Including the 14th ESS Commitee meeting, European statisticians will spend three days in the Congress Centre of the Czech National Bank in the historical centre of the city.
“Over the past years, DGINS has become a valuable platform for discussing issues of the statistical programme, methods, and processes of European statistics production. It is an honour for us that the 98th DGINS conference takes place in the Czech Republic,” says the President of the CZSO Iva Ritschelová in her welcome speech on the website.
The two topics of this year’s event are “Meeting new needs on statistics for green economy” and “Coordination of statistics and geospatial information”.
Last year, the Conference was organised by the Destatis in Germany and covered the topics “Next generation of the Code of Practice – five years after Cracow” and “New conceptual design for household and social statistics”.
