Glossary:Government debt structure survey
From Statistics Explained
Eurostat's annual Government debt structure survey, also Debt survey for short, collects data on the debt of general government, as well as its sub-sectors: central government, local government, social security funds and, where applicable, state government. The purpose of the survey is to study the structure of debt in Europe in detail.
The 2010 survey contained nine tables: a set of four tables (central government unconsolidated debt, state and local government unconsolidated debt, social security funds’ unconsolidated debt and general government consolidated debt) for 2009, and the same set of tables for 2010, plus a table with additional classifications of government debt.
